Free Produce In St. Francois County

(Bonne Terre) Shared Blessings in Bonne Terre is serving as one of several drop off points for free boxes of produce. Proffer Produce has received a USDA grant to help make this possible. Shelly Bess with Shared Blessings says they’ve had several giveaways already and plan on having more next week.

And Bess says there’s quite a variety in these boxes of produce.

The boxes are absolutely free and there’s no financial requirements to be eligible. Bess says it’s possible they could be continuing this program through the end of June. Shared Blessings is one of several locations serving as drop off points. They gave away over a thousand boxes over the weekend, and over 16 hundred boxes on Wednesday.
