Freezing Rain Overnight Causes Issues In Southeast Missouri

(Farmington) Freezing rain fell overnight in southeast Missouri, causing some problems on area roads, especially in rural areas. Melissa Byrd is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. She says we can expect more precipitation today, although ice won’t be the issue.

Precipitation is expected to come to an end by the end of the day Friday, with temperatures getting into the 40’s over the weekend.
