Friday Send Off Planned for Hillsboro Hawks Football Team

(HILLSBORO) The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to come out and line Business 21 through downtown Hillsboro Friday at Noon in show of support for the Hillsboro Hawks Football team as they head west for Saturday’s state championship game against Kearney in Columbia.
The team is scheduled to leave the high school around noon according to Hillsboro Mayor Buddy Russell.
According to Russell, the team has brought the Hillsboro community together.
Russell says he was a freshman at Hillsboro High School in 1967 when the football program was launched.
