Friedmeyer selected to Crystal City council

(Crystal City) Crystal City Mayor Mike Osher has named a replacement for now-former Crystal City Councilman Tony Becker. City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says the Ward 2 opening was filled with a former Crystal City employee.

Friedmeyer also serves with the Crystal City Fire Department. He ran against Becker for Ward 2 councilman in April and lost by twelve votes. Becker resigned from the council in June after he and his family moved to Webster Groves in St. Louis County.
