Future Farmers of America program going well at Hillsboro High School

(Hillsboro) The Future Farmers of America Association Club at Hillsboro High School is doing good.

Currently the program is housed at “The Farm” which is part of the former Bridle Ridge Acres property.

Hillsboro High School Principal Mark Groner says the farm is a good asset for both the FFA club as well as the Hillsboro Agriculture program.

Hillsboro High School student and FFA member Kera Giblin says she was hesitant of the program initially but it quickly became one of her favorite clubs.

Jessika Jacaty is the local FFA sponsor at Hillsboro High School.

As the first semester winds down she explains what students in the FFA program will be doing coming off the winter break…

The last day before the winter break in the Hillsboro School District is on Wednesday, December 21st.

Classes will resume from the holiday break on Wednesday, January 4th.
