Jefferson County C-C to Get Overpass at U.S. 67
(FESTUS)    The upcoming I-55 expansion project from Pevely to I-55 at U.S. 67 also includes a renovation of the interchange at U.S. 67 and Route C-C. Engineers with the Missouri Department of Transportation were waiting to see if that particular project would get the “green light” when the overall plans were awarded to the general contractor last month.  The plans call for Route C-C overpass at Highway 67 according to MO-Dot engineer Stephen O’Connor.

O’Connor says it makes more sense for C-C to go over Highway 67.

In addition to that work, plans call for an additional lane on I-55 in both directions from Route Z to US 67, constructing new interchanges at Route Z, McNutt, and
US 67/I-55, adding lanes at the SB I-55 to SB US 67 ramp and the NB 67 to NB I-55 ramp, replacing 14 bridges and rehabilitating 12 more.
Last month, a proposal from KCI Construction Company, Bartlett & West, and Wilson & Company – was chosen by Mo-Dot to do the work. The overall project will cost $246 million and is expected to be complete by the end of 2026.
