New Assistant Coach for Hillsboro-House Springs Legion Juniors

(HILLSBORO)    The Hillsboro-House Springs American Legion baseball program is adding De Soto High School grad Dustin Detmer to its coaching staff for its “Juniors” team.  Detmer played on the De Soto Legion team and has played club ball in the Cape Girardeau area. Chuck Johnson, chairman of the Hillsboro American Legion baseball committee says Detmer will make a good addition to the staff.

Johnson says Detmer is expected to work specifically with outfielders and pitchers. The head coach of the junior team will be Grant Beck. Organizers are finalizing arrangements to get the Post 783 teams up and running for this summer.
