Garrett Davenport – On Air/Sports Broadcasting

The resident young guy at Regional Radio!

Born and raised in North Carolina, Garrett graduated from Appalachian State University in 2021 with a major in Electronic Media/Broadcasting. As a student, Garrett was the Sports Director for his college radio station, WASU-FM,  and a sports anchor for The Appalachian Weekly News.

Garrett’s collegiate experience allowed him to broadcast a variety of App State sports like football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. In only a few weeks after graduating college, Garrett decided to move to the Parkland and join the Regional Radio Family.

Garrett also loves pizza, has a dog named Bubba, is a lifelong L.A. Chargers fan, and is still mad at Eliah Drinkwitz for leaving App State for Missouri (even though he technically did the same thing.)
