Gas Prices Climbing in Missouri

(Farmington) Gas prices continue to climb in Missouri.

According to Triple-A, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the Show-Me State is $3.63, that’s 10 cents higher than a week ago and nearly 40 cents higher than a month ago.

Southeastern Missouri has the lowest average gas price with the cheapest being $3.29 a gallon in Madison County.

The highest prices can be found in central and western Missouri, with the highest average price at $3.77 in Clay and Henry counties near Kansas City.

The national average for a gallon is $3.82. Locally according to gasbuddy.com, gas is $3.39 in Ironton and Mineral Point, $3.43 in Weingarten, it’s $.3.49 a gallon in Desloge and gas is $3.59 a gallon in Salem.
