(Farmington) Gas prices continue to drop, especially in the Show Me State.
The average price of a gallon of gas in the U.S. is now $4.54, down 32 cents over the last two weeks and down 55 cents over the last six weeks.
The price is still $1.32 higher than it was a year ago.
Experts say cheaper crude oil and wholesale prices are behind the drop.
A gallon of gas can be found for as low as $3.39 a gallon at a station in Pomona, Missouri.
It’s currently $3.89 at a station in Arcadia, $3.83 a gallon in House Springs, $3.69 a gallon in Farmington and as low as $3.59 at a station in Mineral Point.
