Gas Prices Could Soar

(Farmington) Don’t plan on seeing gas prices drop anytime soon.
Industry analyst Patrick de Haan said this week gas prices will “soar” as a result of warmer weather, summer travelers boosting demand, and refineries doing maintenance.
“All the ingredients are there to hit four bucks a gallon.”
The current national average for a gallon of regular gas is $3.35, a full dollar more than prices were in 2020, according to AAA.
