Goff wins election bid for Jefferson County Clerk

(Jefferson County) Among the number of contested races during Tuesday’s November General Election was for Jefferson County voters to decide a new county clerk.

Voters elected Republican Jeannie Goff as she defeated Democrat Tracy Johnson 52,995 votes to 24,066.

Goff Says she’s ready to get started in her new role.

Goff, who has more than 30 years of experience in working in the county clerk’s office, received more than 68 percent of the vote.
