Primary Responsibilities: Use of hand grinders Use sand and rotoblast equipment Light finish work, including cleaning and preparing parts for shipment Packing Safely operate forklifts Calculate weight, volume, or cost of goods to be moved. Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, dock receipts, or certificates of origin. Determine transportation mode for product to be shipped. Use Starship Program software to enter UPS and FedEx orders. Receive packing lists and enter information into a computer database for inventory accuracy. Clerical and plant duties such as filing, cycle counting, organizing, ordering supplies, and working with small part finishing. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of prior experience in shipping is preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail The ability to multi-task, or handle multiple tasks simultaneously Must have the ability to work 40 hours a week as scheduled and maintain a punctual, reliable attendance record – schedule will be Tuesday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm
