Gordmans Set to Close Several Stores in the St. Louis Region

(Crystal City) A local department store may need to be put on the endangered species list.
Stage Stores, who owns the Gordmans chain, says they’re closing all but one of the stores in St. Louis.
Arnold and Fenton locations are on the chopping block while Crystal City will be the only one left of it’s kind in St. Louis.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month that Stage Stores was preparing for a financial restructuring with possible bankruptcy on the table.
The company has not said when the Gordmans stores will be closing in the St. Louis region.
