(Marble Hill) Governor Mike Parson announced Wednesday the appointment of Wayne Johnson of Sedgewickville as an associate commissioner for Bollinger County.

Johnson owns and operates a family farm in Bollinger County.

He’s currently serving his third term on the Farm Service Agency County Committee in Bollinger County and previously served two terms as presiding commissioner of Bollinger County from 2003 through 2010.

Johnson also served in the Missouri National Guard from 1964 through 1970 and is a graduate of Meadow Heights High School in Patton.
