Governor Parson Delivers State of the State Address
(Jefferson City) Governor Mike Parson delivered the 2022 State of the State Address to the Missouri General Assembly today.
He proclaimed that Missouri is strong today and will be even stronger tomorrow.
He highlighted the state’s workforce.
The governor also talked about K through 12 education and it’s funding.
For higher education, Governor Parson recommended nearly 600-million dollars in investments.
He called for 100-million dollars in infrastructure improvements for low volume roads along with 400-million for drinking water, wastewater and stormwater system improvements.
He called for 10-million dollars to expand agriculture innovation and workforce programs.
He also touched on several other topics.
The State of the State Address was broadcast this afternoon on Regional Radio.
