Governor Parson Discusses Reckless Parties at Lake of the Ozarks

(Lake Ozark) A Lake of the Ozarks bar has been getting national attention for hosting outdoor concert the last two weekends with hundreds of maskless people packed in.

This past weekend’s concert reportedly had some safety measures. Governor Mike Parson, who has refused to issue mask mandate in the state, says he is disappointed to hear about the reckless activities at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The governor had this to add.

In Missouri, 38 percent of COVID-19 cases involve people ages 20 to 39-years-old.

34 states now require masks to be worn in public but not Missouri, even though wearing masks in public is one of the C.D.C recommendations.

The last state to mandate masks to be worn in public….Mississippi.
