(Jefferson City) Missouri Governor Mike Parson says while a COVID-19 vaccine is here, the fight is not close to being over.
He urges you to keep your guard up during the upcoming Christmas holiday.
Governor Parson says there were some signs during the last holiday that Missourians are finally starting to take the pandemic seriously.
The governor also says about a thousand Missouri health care workers have already received COVID-19 vaccines. He says Missouri’s 21 initial vaccination sites have received almost all 51,675 doses of the first Pfizer vaccine shipment. The governor also says pending FDA approval, Missouri could receive its first shipment of 105-thousand doses of the Moderna vaccine next week.
