(HILLSBORO) The KJFF Sports Talk end-of-the-summer series with Jefferson County Athletic Directors continued Friday with Grandview’s Don Jeffries.

The big news of the summer, obviously, is that after a one-year hiatus, the Grandview varsity football team is back. Jeffries says there’s a buzz about Grandview.

Jeffries says the football program has come a long way since the last varsity game of 2016.

Jeffries also revealed some good news regarding the girls’ volleyball team and its trip to SEMO this fall, something head coach Madeline Rotter pined for.

The dates for Dig-4-Life are September 7th and 8th. Then there’s the first ever Grandview Holiday Boys Basketball Tournament December 27 through the 29th.

The return of the Grandview varsity football program will be August 24th at 7 as they host Scott City. You can catch the game on MyMoInfo WebTV beginning at 6:45. The continuation of the KJFF Sports Talk end-of-the-summer series with Jefferson County Athletic Directors will be Tuesday with Seckman’s Ryun Kasten.
