(HILLSBORO) Grandview is losing both its Athletic Director and girls basketball coach with the decision by Ronda Hubbard to step down at the end of the school year. Here’s Hubbard on where she’ll be heading next.

Hubbard’s first coaching gig was at Springfield Catholic High School where she won two state championships with the girls program. Then Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri called on her to be its assistant coach for a couple of years. Eventually, Hubbard spent three seasons as the head coach for women’s basketball at Missouri Southern State, averaging 19 wins a season with them.

For the Grandview Eagles, Hubbard continued her tradition of doing great things.

Despite her departure, Hubbard knows she’s leaving Grandview in good hands.

Under AD and girls basketball coach Ronda Hubbard, the Grandview Lady Eagles went 44-7 and reached two Class 3 District 3 tournament semifinals. Hubbard is returning home to be the athletic director at Marshfield High School.
