(HILLSBORO, Mo.) The Grandview Eagles are preparing to take part in the Norm Stewart Classic Saturday as part of a 48 hour stretch of high school basketball in the state of Missouri at Columbia College in Columbia.

Grandview will be taking on Father Tolton Catholic High School in the classic that features back-to-back games for 48 hours starting on Friday evening at 6 p.m., and ending on Sunday at 4 p.m. The Eagles will play Father Tolton Catholic at 8 p.m., on Saturday.

The proceeds from the event are donated to Coaches vs. Cancer and tickets will be made available at the door for purchase. The Norm Stewart Classic began back in 2008 as a way for Missouri to raise funds and give back to Coaches vs. Cancer, which is an organization that pairs the National Association of Basketball Coaches with the American Cancer Society to spread awareness and battle cancer.

Some of the games will be broadcasted online and on the ESPN 3 streaming service. The Eagles are currently battling in the Rolla “Duke” Herbert Tournament at Crystal City High School.
