(HILLSBORO) The Grandview football program did not field a varsity team last season after the 2015 and ’16 teams went 1-19 in large part to a lack of students interested in playing.

The Eagles brought in former North County head coach Dave Dallas last year to refuel interest and rebuild the program by leading a junior varsity team. The JV Eagles won six games and lost two. Now the varsity program is back with their first game in 2018 on August 24th at home against Scott City.

Dave Dallas will be in-studio for KJFF Sports Talk this afternoon at 4:15 to discuss the rebuild and his expectations for the upcoming season.
