Grant money available for Jefferson County small businesses

(Hillsboro) There is financial help available for area small businesses through the Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation. The JCEDC has the Microenterprise Grant for the smallest of businesses that have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Todd Tracy says they have around 7-hundred thousand dollars in funds for area businesses to apply for.
Tracy says businesses need to submit their financial information such as receipts and payroll numbers.
Businesses need to apply online at jeffcountymo.org/microenterprise-grant. The funds are available now and will continue until the monies run out. Tracy says businesses can typically receive their funding within 45 days of application.
