Great Pumpkin Festival will now include a costume contest

(Festus) After some recent planning, the annual Great Pumpkin Festival will now include a costume contest this year. The event, which will be held on Saturday, October 30th, is now ran by the Twin City Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Executive Director Tonda Breeze says they were able to get a plan in place to keep the contest going.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group. The judging will take place in front of the Cobblestone Frame & Art Gallery on Festus Main Street. Trick or treating will begin at 9:30, and it all takes place on Saturday, October 30th.
