Great Weather Expected for Saturday’s 20th Annual Caledonia Pumpkin Festival

(Caledonia) The Caledonia Pumpkin Festival is 20 years old this year.

The festival in the picturesque Washington County village is this Saturday.

Nina Gilliam helps organize the festival, in fact she was one of the residents who got this fun event going two decades ago.

Gilliam says it looks like the weather for Saturday’s Caledonia Pumpkin Festival is going to be top-notch.

The Caledonia Pumpkin Fest kicks off Saturday morning at 10 with a parade and Gilliam was chosen to be the parade grand marshal this year.

The festival also has axe throwing, a bounce house, the Village Hall Lawn Obstacle Course and hayrides to the pumpkin patch and corn maze.

There’s also shuttle hay rides if you have to park too far from the village park.

The pumpkin fest in Caledonia will continue until 4 o’clock Saturday afternoon.
