Hampton Inn in Festus finally getting started

After many years of delays and setbacks, the ground will finally be broken to construct the Hampton Inn and Suites hotel in Festus. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says the project was initially discussed in 2019, but for obvious reasons, the plans went stagnant for a good amount of time.

Camp says now that this project is moving along, it may spark other open lots and spaces to get moving as well.

There is no projected finish date for when the Hampton Inn and Suites will be completed along Shapiro Drive in Festus.
