Head Out To The Washington County Fair This Week!

(Potosi) The 73rd Washington County Fair is underway this week in Potosi. Opening night is Wednesday night with the fun continuing through Saturday night at the fairgrounds, located at the junction of Highways 8 and 185. Randy Fryman is the fair board president. He’s happy with the headlining musical acts set to perform this weekend.

And Fryman says it won’t cost you an arm and leg to bring the whole family out for a night of fun at the fair in Potosi.

They have a great selection of carnival rides and games for the kids. Kids Day is Saturday. It will cost 10 dollars a child that day for carnival rides from 10 until 3. The 4-H and F.F.A. livestock auction gets underway Thursday night at 6:30 with local musician Dustin Coleman performing after the auction. J-98 will broadcast from the Washington County Fair in Potosi Thursday and Friday afternoon from 4 until 6.
