Health department on New Year’s Resolutions

(Jefferson County) For a New Year’s resolution that lasts, start now, start simple and be specific.

Almost half of all Americans make a New Year’s resolution each year.

Most commonly, people aspire to lose weight, exercise more, quit smoking or eat healthier.

Many will abandon their resolution by a month or less into the new year; however, Jefferson County Health Department spokeswoman Brianne Zwiener says it doesn’t have to be that way.

Appointments with Registered Dietitian Megan Lash are very well detailed and focused to meet each specific persons wants and needs.
