Help The Hungry Committee Presents Checks To The Food Pantries

(Farmington) A special ceremony was held this morning in Farmington to present the checks from the Help the Hungry Bake Sale and Auction to representatives of the two major food pantries in Farmington. Chris Landrum is the organizer of Help the Hungry. She says it was a great morning.
Nancy Faulkner with the Farmington Ministerial Alliance says this money comes their way at just the right time.
Jennifer Rhodus with the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry echoed those sentiments.
Both food pantries recieved a check for 50 thousand dollars. The 15th annual Help the Hungry Bake Sale and Auction was held at the Centene Center in Farmington back in November. Hear our interview below.
