Henry Ford of Festus died Friday, he was 82. He was a Veteran of the U.S Army, Member of American Legion Post 283, VFW post-2593, a member of the Missouri Fiddler’s association, IAM local 837, and a member of First Baptist Church of Freemont Missouri. He enjoyed watching Cardinal baseball, playing pitch, square dancing, playing guitar, clog dancing, hunting, fishing, gardening, and he held the record at Freemont High School for most points scored in a basketball game.

He is survived by his wife, Verna Mae Ford of Festus, sons Gary Ford of Festus, Terry Ford of Hillsboro, Sister Wanda Bayles of Poplar Bluff, grandchildren Paula Oglesby, Alecia Howard, Katie Steward, Terry Ford Jr., and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Henry Ford will be Wednesday at 11 at First Baptist Church of Freemont, with burial at Gresham Cemetary in Ellsinore Missouri.

Visitation was held yesterday (Monday) at Mahn Twin City Chapel and will continue on Wednesday at Fremont First Baptist Church from 10 until the time of the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gresham Cemetary or the First Baptist Church of Fremont.
