Robert Joseph “Bob” Henson – Service 12/28/19 at 11 a.m.

Bob Henson of Festus passed away Tuesday at the age of 83. He was a longtime member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Fesus-Crystal City, where he served as Sunday School Director for 25 years; and was a retired mechanic from the former River Cement Corporation of Festus.

Bob is survived by his wife Peggy; daugters Catherine Henson of St. Charles, Barbara DeRousse of Festus, Mary Beth Ross of Crystal City, and Karen Beckham of Kansas City; sons Michael Henson St. Charles, Paul Henson of Florida, Charles Bauman of Creve Coeur, and Keith Bauman of Herculaneum; sisters Sue Moore of Festus, Joan Crawford of Festus and Brenda Shelton of Festus; brothers James Jackson of Crystal City, Jack Jackson of Texas, and Randall Jackson of Hillsboro; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Bob Henson will be Saturday afternoon at 11:00 AM at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus with interment at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City.

Memorials for Bob Henson are preferred to First Baptist Church of Festus-Crystal City.
