(HERCULANEUM) The Herculaneum baseball team enjoyed a turn-around 2017 campaign under 7th year head coach Zac Bone by going 14-4-1 before losing to Hancock in the Class 3 District 4 tournament. The year prior, the Blackcats only won 6 games.
Coach Bone gives credit to last season’s success to seniors Austin Bearden, Greg Garrett and Iann Wisely, who stayed committed to the program. He also says there’s a lot of buzz surrounding this year’s squad, which returns 16 players.
