Herculaneum Cross Country’s Jonathon Coffman is the 2019 Dream Team Runner of the Year

(HERCULANEUM) Herculaneum’s Jonathon Coffman was voted by area coaches as the 2019 Regional Radio Dream Team Cross Country Runner of the Year.

Coffman finished 2nd at the Class 3 state cross country meet in Columbia this past season after running the course in 15:37. That All-State finish along with his All-State finishes each of the last 3 years made Coffman the first boy in Herculaneum cross country history to earn All-State honors all 4 years.

It’s a series of major accomplishments that Coffman still has trouble fathoming considering how far he came.

It wasn’t without a little adversity his sophomore season that Coffman was able to achieve All-State all 4 years.

Coffman will have a future in cross country and track at the collegiate level, adding that Missouri Southern State currently tops his list of schools to attend.
