Herculaneum Girls Beat Festus 48-45

(FESTUS)   The Herculaneum Lady Blackcats won at Festus Monday night 48-43. The Lady Cats were led in scoring by Jillian Jarvis who had three 3-pointers and a total of 11 points and Kristina Walker added 10 more. For Festus, Mya Courtois had 16 points and Josie Allen had 15.

Festus Coach Steve McFarland says the Lady Tigers made too many turnovers.

Herculaneum Head Coach Riley Blair says the Cats defense kept them in the game.

Herculaneum is 5-2 and they will play at Ste. Genevieve tomorrow (Wednesday)night. Festus is 5-3 and they are off until Monday, December 26th at 11:30am when they play Steelville in the Bob Sechrest Christmas Tournament at Park Hills Central.
