Herculaneum Mayor talks on the Love’s Truck Stop coming

(Herculaneum) As Herculaneum Mayor Bill Haggard seeks another two-year term, the talk of the town has been the Love’s Truck Stop coming in, and its location on McNutt Street at the “roundabout” near the Providence subdivision. Mayor Haggard says there are some things to keep in mind when it comes to this somewhat controversial topic.

Haggard says Love’s is doing a lot of things to try to keep the residents in that area happy.

Haggard says a recent traffic study shows the roundabout can handle the projected traffic.

Construction of the Love’s Truck Stop should begin soon with completion expected to be in the fall. The Love’s will be located on 28 acres just to the west of I-55 at McNutt.
