Herculaneum’s Johnson named Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week

(Herculaneum) Herculaneum Blackcats senior DJ Johnson has been named the Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week.
Johnson finished with 193 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns on just 13 carries Friday night on the football field.
Johnson ended up with 287 all-purpose yards in the Blackcats’ 24-10 win over the Perryville Pirates.
Herculaneum head coach Blane Boss says Johnson is the key to his team’s recent success.
During Herky’s current 3-game winning streak, Johnson has rushed for 404 yards.
As Athlete of the Week, he receives a T-shirt, a certificate and a coupon for a free entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
