Herculaneum’s Taylor Metcalf Becomes All-Time Assists Leader in Girls Basketball Program History

(HERCULANEUM) The Herculaneum girls basketball program has a new all-time assists leader.
4-year starting point guard Taylor Metcalf surpassed Gayla Caldwell’s previous record of 474 in a game against North County on Monday night. Despite being on the road, North County took the time at halftime to recognize Taylor for her achievement.
Taylor talks about the build-up to the moment she broke the record.
It means a lot to Taylor to have this record.
The Herculaneum girls basketball team is currently 9-5 and will face Valley Park at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at their place. So far this season, Metcalf is averaging 4.92 assists per game while pouring in 10.5 points a game.
