High Ridge Walmart Evacuated Due to Coolant Leak

(High Ridge) Customers and employees had to evacuate the High Ridge Walmart late Wednesday morning after reports of a leaking refrigerant.

High Ridge Fire Protection District Captain John Barton has the details.

We asked Captain Barton if there were any injuries reported on scene.

The leak came from a section of coolers located in the back of the store.

The store has been turned back over to Walmart management and will remain closed while further repairs are made.
