High Ridge woman injured in crash on Route BB

(Jefferson County) A High Ridge woman was injured in a single-car accident on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Highway Patrol, 32-year old Jessica Melton was driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix west on Route BB, west of Glade Chapel Road and traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a rock bluff. She was not wearing her seatbelt and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. The accident took place just after 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
