Highway Maintenance Worker from Mill Spring Injured in Washington County Accident

(Old Mines) A maintenance worker from Mill Spring was injured Wednesday while doing an operation in a 2005 John Deere Tractor along the side of Highway 21 in Washington County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place at 18935 Highway 21 when the tractor, driven by 61-year-old Earl Woolard V, went off the side of the road, striking an obstructed culvert and then overturned.

Woolard received moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City for treatment.
