(IMPERIAL) The Hillsboro and Festus rivalry will carry over onto the baseball diamond Friday afternoon at Windsor High School on AM 1400 KJFF. Due to unplayable conditions at West City Park, the game has been moved to Windsor and its all-turf field at Jack M. Cronin Memorial Stadium.

The Hawks enter the matchup at 9-4 overall and 2-0 in the Large Schools Conference standings. Head coach Kevin Lucas knows a thing or two about the significance of this rivalry.

 
The Festus Tigers have a 5-13 overall record going into this game, but lead the Large Schools Conference at 3-0. If the Tigers beat Hillsboro, they will be conference champions. Head coach Jeff Montgomery shares his thoughts on the prospects of his guys winning the title.

 
First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Friday at Windsor High School. The Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show will begin at 4:15 on AM 1400 KJFF.
