Hillsboro becomes POW/MIA city

(Hillsboro) The city of Hillsboro is now officially known as a POW/MIA city. The distinction was given to the city last month, and Hillsboro now joins Hillsboro R-3 schools to be recognized for the honor. Hillsboro Mayor Buddy Russell says the school district played a big part in it.
Hillsboro has already posted the signage of being an official POW/MIA city. Hillsboro now joins Herculaneum as Jefferson County municipalities with the distinction.
