Hillsboro Cruises To A 42-7 Victory Over North County On J98

(Bonne Terre) The Hillsboro Hawks cruised their way to a 42-7 victory over North County Friday night and we had all the action on J-98. With the game scoreless after the first 12 minutes, Hillsboro marched 64 yards down the field to open the scoring in the second quarter.

The Hawks got the ball back and junior fullback Austin Romaine ran it 67 yards inside the Raider’s ten yard line. Romaine capped off that long run with a touchdown.

The Hillsboro offense supplied the first 35 points of the game. The Hawks defense provided the next six.

Regional Radio caught up with Hillsboro head coach Bill Sucharski after the game.

Hawks junior Jaxin Patterson racked up over 150 rushing yards with two touchdowns. Patterson was named our Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game. The Hawks improve to 3-1 and will host the 3-1 Festus Tigers next Friday. North County moves to 3-1 and host Agape next week.
