Hillsboro Fire Protection District Looking to Buy Property for Possible New Fire House

(Hillsboro) The Hillsboro Fire Protection District is looking to purchase some property for the possible construction of a new fire house.

Hillsboro Fire District Chief Brain Gaudet says this has been something the district has been planning to do for some time now.

Gaudet adds they are looking at various ways on how to fund the construction of a new fire house…

According to Gaudet the property they are interested in is not too far from their current fire house station #1 location.

There is no current estimated cost or time frame on when and if a new fire house will be built.
