Hillsboro Fire Protection District to Receive New Fire Truck Soon

(Hillsboro, MO) It’s been little over a year since the Hillsboro Fire Protection District made the order to purchase a new fire truck to add to its fleet and the vehicle itself is nearing completion from the manufacturer.

Hillsboro Fire Chief Brian Gaudet says they hope to have the new pumper in a few of months.

According to Chief Gaudet, the fire truck should be delivered by the end of November.

The new fire truck cost the Hillsboro Fire protection District around $522,000.

The money to purchase the fire truck was made possible by the passage of a sales tax increase back in 2015.
