Hillsboro Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Jefferson County

(St. Louis, Mo.) A man from Hillsboro was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis after being involved in a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon in Jefferson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place on Goldman Road, north of Mockingbird Road, when a Chevrolet 1500 truck driven by 60-year-old Dale Vontalge slowed to make a left turn and a Buell motorcycle driven by 44-year-old Shawn Allen of Hillsboro failed to stop in time which caused the motorcycle to strike the towed unit of the truck.
Allen sustained serious injuries in the crash.
