Hillsboro R-3 schools to use a hybrid schedule

(Hillsboro) The Hillsboro R-3 School District has adjusted its back to school plan recently by implementing a hybrid system. The 2020-21 school year will begin with the district splitting their students in all building into two groups that will be in-class and on-campus twice a week. Superintendent Jon Issacson explains.

Dr. Issacson says they did have a few kids test positive for Covid-19 during summer school.

The hybrid plan will split the daily student body in half each day they have classes, which will help with distancing for bus travel and lunches.

The Hillsboro R-3 School District will begin the 2020-21 School year with the hybrid plan on Monday, August 31st.
