Hillsboro School District Announces New Administration Hires for 2020-2021 School Year

(Hillsboro) The Hillsboro R-3 School District recently announced some new administration hires for the 2020-2021 school year.

Starting on July 1st, Mark Groner will be the new building principal of Hillsboro High School.

Groner has been in education since 1995 and has been with the Hillsboro School District since 1997. Groner replaces Dr. Cathy Freeman, who has accepted the principal position of Hillsboro Primary School.

Dr. Freeman has been with the school district since 1995.

Dr. Freeman replaces Dr. Lee Ann Wallace, who has been named Superintendent of the Kingston K-14 School District.

Hillsboro schools have also announced the hiring of new High School Assistant Principal Amber Parks.

Parks moves into the role with 24 years of professional experience in the Hillsboro School District.

Parks replaces Stephanie Dix, who will lead Herculaneum High School as building principal beginning July 1st 2020.
