(Hillsboro) The Hillsboro School District was on lockdown for roughly 50 minutes early Thursday morning after school officials received reports of threats made against a mother and her two children who go to school in the district.

Superintendent Dr. Jon Isaacson has more.

Isaacson mentions due to timing the lockdown process at the district was a little bit different than normal lockdown procedures.

The lockdown was lifted just after 8:30 Thursday morning when school officials were made aware by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office that the man who apparently made the threats was in custody.
