Hillsboro School District to purchase new scoreboards

(Hillsboro) The Hillsboro School District plans to replace the current scoreboards at the football field, high school gym, baseball field and marquee.

Superintendent Dr. Jon Isaacson explains.

According to Dr. Isaacson the cost of the scoreboards is around $320-thousand.

With the help of marketing/advertising partnerships the district has secured $225-thousand in sponsorship funds.

Therefore the actual cost to the school district for the new video boards is only $95-thousand.

Dr. Isaacson says they plan on adding more businesses as part of their marketing partnership in the future.
